This intensive two-day workshop focuses on particular style techniques and strategies to improve business and public relations writing skills. In particular, the focus is on public relations and journalistic writing techniques to engage the target audience.

On a day-to-day basis, marketing and communication professionals are required to produce engaging copy. Many struggle with writing as a task while others may enjoy writing but need to hone their skills and reignite their creative journalistic flair. Throughout the workshop, participants will learn about particular style tips to enhance their writing skills while examining a variety of writing formats.

This workshop will help you write more quickly and freely – taking away dead time spent sitting at your desk wondering where to start. This is a hands-on workshop and participants will be required to undertake various writing and planning tasks specifically related to their current roles. Participants get a comprehensive set of notes on the topic, relevant examples of material for analysis and discussion along with practical experience in implementing learned techniques.

This course qualifies for 16 hours of professional development under the AMI's Certified Practising Marketer program.
